Admin Rule Enforcement
Admins will now have access to a dashboard that allows them to set automatic controls to enforce group rules. For example, say you don't want new members to comment for the first month, that will now be an option!
This might be something important to consider, especially for those with public groups because they did announce all public group comments/discussions will start popping up in newsfeeds of those, not in the group AND everyone will now be able to click "join group" to join. No approval process needed.

Group Sponsorships
Groups will now be able to host sponsorships. They didn't go too much into this, so I'm assuming it will be a later roll-out, but great for those looking to monetize.

Topics
Facebook is also introducing topics. They are basically group specific hashtags. For example, if you were asking a question about Halloween and you #' ed it #Halloween it would appear with all the other posts using that hashtags. I think this is great for a quick catch up.

Group Messages
Instead of having huge comment threads, Facebook is now allowing in-group chats. They can include the whole group or just specific pods of people.
Personally, this is one of my favorite new features, huge comment threads are impossible to navigate and this helps build a tighter knit community.

Group-Specific Profiles
You will now be able to set a specific profile for your Groups. This is especially great for gamers or people who go by a different name in other online spaces. This will also give you some background on the person without having to stalk their personal profile.

New prompts!
In what I'm assuming is another attempt to get rid of excessive comment strands Facebook is now introducing Q&A and photo prompts. I think they can be great, but if your message gets hundreds of responses it's going to be impossible to swipe through everything. They also didn't mention what response shows up first, is it the most recent? The most popular? The oldest? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
That's it for the changes! Let me know what you think!
