This holiday season is going to be unlike any season we've seen before. Luckily, I'm here with some tips to ensure success!
Tip 1: Deals
There's going to be ALOT of deals going on, many people are going to be looking to hit their sales quotas before the end of the year. To keep up with the madness I suggest running 2 deals. A before Christmas sale that is preferably right before your last day to order and a sale the week of Christmas. Make sure you are transparent in your delivery day for the last sale!
Tip 2: Focus
While I typically will never suggest increasing posting (typically I would say instead of more posts do a $5-$10 boost), since we can't rely on paid advertising I am going to suggest increasing your number of posts per day. I know, I know. I realize this is a huge hassle for some people, so I am also going to suggest only doing this on the platforms that are worth the most to you. If you get more engagement and reach on Instagram focus your energy there and maybe copy captions posts to Facebook. While this isn't best practice, we are on a bit of a time crunch and we need to work smarter, not harder.

Tip 3: Strategic Advertising
As mentioned above, our typical advertising places like Instagram and Facebook are expected to be jam-packed. It might be time to look into Pinterest, Tik Tok, or Snapchat's paid advertising programs.
Tip 4: Post Where You'll Be Seen
If you aren't already, I would also suggest posting where you'll be seen, and no, unfortunately, this is not your newsfeed anymore. Make it a goal to post on Instagram stories and Facebook stories commonly throughout the season. While these are expected to be saturated, you'll still have a better chance of being seen.
Tip 5: Alternative Posts
Say you have a little time on your hands and want to explore a different area of communicating with your audience, it might be worth looking into Facebook Groups or even setting up Facebook Events for different deals. I will only suggest this for people who already have an engaged following, if you don't you could set up an ad, but I'm not sure it's going to be worth the CPR.
Alright, you should now be armed and ready for a successful holiday season!
